Synopsis

Tic-tac-toe / Gomoku meets Sudoku in this local 2-player competitive game.  Be the first to assemble a full set of numbers while making sure the opponent doesn't get there first! Play against friends or against the NASU bot. New initial number setups are generated every day.

Match length: 5-10 minutes

Controls

• WASD / Arrow keys to move.
• Numeric keys from 1-9 to insert the corresponding number into the grid.
• R to restart the game.
• Z  to undo moves.

Basic Rules

The game is split into 2 alternating turns representing the 2 players Black and White. The first player to connect 9 numbers in a column / row / sector (3x3 box) / diagonal  wins, like in Tic-tac-toe / Gomoku.

Since the first player advantage exists in Gomoku-type games, the Swap2 opening protocol is recommended for playing.

Number interactions

You can push the numbers like in a sliding puzzle / Sokoban game with your character.

Numbers you just placed / moved are immovable for the following turn.

Placing a number / pushing a number into a column / row / diagonal that has an opponent number with the same value will destroy the number and grant you an extra turn.

The grey numbers at the beginning of the game are neutral numbers and will count for both players.

Numbers placed in the walls between the sectors do not count.

The walls between the sectors block numbers from being pushed.
