A short top-down adventure game taking inspirations from many real-life cults and imagines what life would look like when a cult is at the helm of government.
Synopsis
In pursuit of Order, its Disciples built a town.
Through Her whispers, our Mayor the Messenger crafted a utopia. Where all is fair.
The Disciples of Order, citizens of a post-chaos world, are perpetually grateful.

How to Play
Use WASD or arrow keys to move the player character.
Press E to interact with game objects.
Press Space, Enter, or left click to advance the dialogue.
Press ESC to open the settings menu.

Install instructions
Extract the .zip/.tar.gz file and run the executable.
If you get the Windows Defender warning when starting the game, ignore it by clicking on More info then press Run anyway.

This game is great! I loved the art and the entire setting-- the characterization was also compelling! Seeing the way everyone reacted completely normal to events happening really made the unsettling vibe set in more, even with the calm music (great choice, too!)-- really love Evan and Helen too, and definitely curious about Helen's character/personality now.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this game progresses, I love this!

The game is picking up steam again look a since life got in the way a few months back, and we’ve got grand plans for the game: A modern RPG Maker-esque Psychological Horror game. I can assure you the art in this demo will be nothing compared to what will be in the final game!

Cool game. I dig the religious dystopian setting and the art is pretty neat. Im really interested to see where the story goes. I do hope Evan is alright :o

Hopefully so. We have quite the plans for the game and we’re trying out lots of things we’ve never done before.
